Our Story...
Stephanie and Jaclyn started Blossoming Minds in 2012. They were two former teachers who wished to provide something special and helpful to the kids in their neighborhood. Blossoming Minds Preschool, a half-day program, was their first offering.
The desire for a full-day preschool program grew as a result of the half-day program’s solid foundation, and Blossoming Minds II was founded in 2014. The demand for a program that is accessible to newborns and toddlers was prompted by the distinctive and excellent preschool programs.
Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center was created in September 2016 as a result of Stephanie and Jaclyn’s wonderful opportunity to start an infant and toddler program.
For over a decade, Stephanie and Jaclyn have provided a center in Fishkill, NY to serve the families located in Dutchess County and surrounding communities. They created the foundation that fostered growth, lasting relationships, and memories for the children and families they served.
When Stephanie relocated to Connecticut, her goal was to help Connecticut families benefit from the solid reputation they had established over the previous ten years. The exciting chance to expand Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center to Southbury, Connecticut, presented itself to Stephanie in 2021. In Connecticut and New York, Stephanie and Jaclyn became the sole proprietors of Blossoming Minds.

Stephanie has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Services. She is certified by NYS in both student with disabilities and childhood education. She has further expertise in bilingual education. She has seven years of prior experience as a public school teacher. Her passion is to always provide a high quality learning center where children can BLOSSOM to their full potential in an environment that stands apart.
Jaclyn
Owner of Fishkill, NY Location
Jaclyn has a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education with a Psychology minor. She is certified by the NYS in literacy, early childhood education and childhood education. She has seven years of experience as a public school teacher.
