How Blossoming Minds Began...
Stephanie started Blossoming Minds in 2012 in Fishkill, NY. She was a former teacher who wanted to provide something unique and beneficial to the children in the area. Blossoming Minds Preschool, a half-day program, was her first establishment. The desire for a full-day preschool program grew as a result of the half-day program’s solid foundation, where Blossoming Minds II was established in 2014. The demand continued for programs available to infants and toddlers from the strong foundation of the preschool programs established. Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center was therefore established in September 2016 with programs serving children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
For over a decade, Stephanie provided a center in Fishkill, NY to serve the families located in Dutchess County and surrounding communities. She created the foundation that fostered growth, lasting relationships, and memories for the children and families they served. When Stephanie relocated to Connecticut, her goal was to bring the wonderful experience and reputation established for over ten years to families now in Connecticut. Stephanie had the exciting opportunity to establish Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center in Southbury, Connecticut where the doors opened to families in January 2023. She is the sole owner of only Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center in Connecticut.
Stephanie’s passion is to provide a high quality childcare center where children can BLOSSOM to their full potential in a learning environment that stands apart. Her compassionate and energetic personality is the foundation of Blossoming Minds, as her dedication is seen and felt by families. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/ Human Services with seven years of experience as a public school teacher.
