We are neither a franchise nor a corporation. This enables us to provide a more personal experience and build stronger relationships with our children. This center is our sole location and primary focus.
We have separate classrooms, each serving one group of children. We do not have more than one group size per classroom. Each individual classroom is for each group of children. We do not have half walls, book shelves and cubbies to separate our classrooms. We believe in quality over quantity.
We separate our age groups into smaller ranges of age. Children six weeks to one year of age are together as a group. Children one to two years of age are together as a group. Children three to four years of age together are together as a group. Children four to five years of age are together as a group. This allows for more personalized care and learning rather than combining large age groups. Our day is focused according to the age group, as this is an important key in a child’s learning and socialization.
We provide educational services to children where we are more than just care. Our curriculum is based on CT Early Learning Development Standards which serves as the foundation for supporting all young children, wherever they may live, play and learn.
We combine the principles of an excellent early learning educational curriculum with the highest quality childcare to create the best experience for families. Our activities are catered to each specific classroom/age group.
We utilize our day to your child’s maximum potential. We have a healthy balance of learning, socialization, play and quiet/busy time. We believe that our learning time is valuable and precious. We use our time wisely because we want the best filled day possible for our children. Our programs have a balance of child initiated and teacher directed structured learning, creative expression, and child initiated free play.
Our environment creates the best learning experience attainable for our children. Our center is spacious, colorful, appealing, and clean for a stimulating learning environment.
Our location is a brand new construction that is 8800 sqft all on one level with a beautiful, enriching environment that stands apart to welcome all our families. Security cameras monitor activity inside each classroom and inside the entire center. In addition, video surveillance of the outside perimeter including entrance, exit, parking lot, walkway and playground area. Outside access into the center is locked at all times. Access to the vestibule is attained through a key fob provided to all families and staff which therefore allows access into the center. We have a spacious fenced in playground equipped with playground equipment catering to our age groups.
In order to maintain our five star reputation for exceeding the expectations of every family served, the owner Stephanie takes great pride in this center. Our directors are confident leaders who oversee the daily operations of Blossoming Minds. We provide a safe environment where children learn, socialize and “blossom”. They utilize the skills necessary to elevate our center to the best possible standards.
