How Blossoming Minds Was Born....
Stephanie and her business partner started Blossoming Minds in 2012 in Fishkill, NY. They were two former teachers who wanted to provide something unique and beneficial to the children in the area. Blossoming Minds Preschool, a half-day program, was their first establishment. The desire for a full-day preschool program grew as a result of the half-day program’s solid foundation, where Blossoming Minds II was established in 2014. The demand continued for programs available to infants and toddlers from the strong foundation of the preschool programs established. Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center was therefore established in September 2016 with programs serving children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
For over a decade, Stephanie and her business partner have provided a center in Fishkill, NY to serve the families located in Dutchess County and surrounding communities. They created the foundation that fostered growth, lasting relationships, and memories for the children and families they served. When Stephanie relocated to Connecticut, her goal was to bring the wonderful experience and reputation established for over ten years to families now in Connecticut. Stephanie had the exciting opportunity to establish Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center in Southbury, Connecticut where the doors opened to families in January 2023. She is now the sole proprietor of only Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center in Connecticut.
Stephanie
Stephanie has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Services. She is certified by NYS in both student with disabilities and childhood education. She has further expertise in bilingual education. She has seven years of prior experience as a public school teacher. Her passion is to always provide a high quality learning center where children can BLOSSOM to their full potential in an environment that stands apart.
